For the last thirty years, Arlen has delivered the Sermon on the Sunday just before a new Minister began their pulpit ministry at High Street. The sermon has taken several forms during that time, but this Sermon also marks the beginning of High Street’s venture into a time of Developmental Ministry. What can we expect of our new minister … and of ourselves … as we move into to High Street’s future?
Arlen is the Teaching Minister Emeritus of High Street Church. Prior to his life as a UU, he served Baptist and Presbyterian Congregations in five states. He is honorably retired from 20+ years serving with Georgia’s Department of Family and Children’s Services.
