Steven Charleston (a retired Episcopal bishop of Native American heritage) has said that “memory is an act of resurrection.” Objects have a way of sparking memories, and memories bring the past alive once again. Today, we’ll take a brief tour of High Street, noticing a few objects which bring to mind High Street’s past and how they bring to life who we are and what we are about.
