The Inherent Worth and Dignity of Every Being

Dr. Mark Causey- March 26, 2017

What if our first principle talked of the inherent worth and dignity of every being? How do we as people of faith and compassion live in a multi-species world? I will explore the reasons behind the proposal and what it might mean for our UU faith.

Mark Causey has a Ph.D. in Philosophy as well as a Master of Divinity degree (M.Div.). He teaches animal, food, and environmental ethics at Georgia College in Milledgeville. He is the current President of the Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry (UUAM).
