Rev. Cassandra Howe – January 29, 2017
It is true that children do not always make a joyful noise. And sometimes this non-joyful-noise happens during Sunday Services. Sometimes the cries or babbles of young children can interrupt our moment of silence or make it hard to hear the speaker. And yet it is not just children who, through their noise, remind us that we are a community of living, growing and aging bodies. Maybe the question of children in worship is less about children and more about our definition of worship and what it means to worship in a community with multiple intellectual and physical ability levels.
