To Be In The Dark

Our clocks have been turned back. We are more aware of light’s limited hours. What does it mean to be in the dark? Is it a place where no one wants to be? A place of ignorance and helplessness? What if the dark is not only necessary for living, but is a dear, old friend? What if being in the dark might help us to stay awake, not yet grown sleepy by the illusion of certainty?
